RSD Weekly Recap

This is Gerardo Del Real with the Resource Stock Digest weekly recap.

I hope everyone had an excellent New Year. I’m excited to be back so let’s get to it.

Gold closed at $1,302 for a weekly gain of just over 2%.

Silver followed, surging 3.5% and closing at $16.92 an ounce.

The dollar closed at a three-month low, settling at 92.3.

Copper gained a nickel, closing at $3.26/lb. and looks poised to have a great 2018.

Platinum closed at $927 an ounce for a weekly gain of 1%.

Palladium gained 2.3%, closing at $1,054 an ounce.

Zinc closed the year strong, settling at $1.50/lb. for a weekly gain of just over 2%.

WTI oil closed at $60.12/ barrel for a weekly gain of just over 3%.

Uranium closed the year at $23.88/lb.

Expect lots of news flow this coming week.
