Hannan Metals (TSX-V: HAN) CEO Michael Hudson after Defining Seven New Kilbricken-Sized Drill Targets: ”We Continue to Play the Big Game”

Gerardo Del Real: This is Gerardo Del Real with Resource Stock Digest. Joining me today is CEO and Chairman of Hannan Metals (TSX-V: HAN)(OTC: HANNF), Mr. Michael Hudson. Mike, how are you today?

Michael Hudson: Fantastic. Full of energy on the floor of the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference, Gerardo.

Gerardo Del Real: I love it, and I got to get your take, share some of the insights. How is the energy? How is the vibe? What are you seeing?

Michael Hudson: There's a few litmus tests that I always like, and I've been here for the last 18 years, I think, in a row. As long as my memory can serve me well, it's always good to see line-ups. For five of the last seven years it's been like a ghost town in the morning, pre-start. This year there was a line of 50 to 75 meters of people lining up before the conference. I think that's great, and then it's carried through with the vibe on the floor. There's a lot of energy. Always busy, no sitting around the booth waiting for somebody to come and talk. It's person to person to person. It's been great.

Gerardo Del Real: Excellent, are you seeing good feedback and good attention being paid to the base metal plays? Of course I'm asking because Hannan had some very good news this morning that I'll ask you about here in just a second, but what's the reception been on that front?

Michael Hudson: I think there's a bit of a disconnect still. We're in a zinc bull market. The fundamentals are still very much in place. We're at 10-year highs. I think the main commentary is that what opportunity there exists in the base metals space still given the market caps of a lot of the stocks.

Gerardo Del Real: Excellent, well let's segue right into what I believe is one of the best zinc plays in this space, in Hannan metals. You recently completed an extensive soil geochem survey and today you had news where you defined seven new drill targets. These aren't inconsequential small drill targets, these are Kilbricken-sized targets. Can you provide the details, Mike?

Michael Hudson: That pretty much says it all, Gerardo. What we've done is played the big game and continue to play the big game here. We've got a great start at Kilbricken, a resource that's one of the top 10 resources ever found in Ireland. Now we're drilling just outside of that, but we've also got a very big land position that's much larger than Kilbricken and its surrounds. We've got 35,000 hectares. We've stood back, recently completed the big seismic survey that we announced a week or so ago, 42 kilometer 2D survey. This really is in conjunction with that survey where we can use the soil data that we're talking about today combined with the seismics. They form very coherent targets that are drill-ready targets. We've, as you said, defined in that big land package seven other Kilbricken-scale targets that we look forward to getting in and drilling over the next year.

Gerardo Del Real: These are targets that have never been tested, is that correct?

Michael Hudson: Virgin new discoveries.

Gerardo Del Real: Wonderful. I'm excited. I know the rigs are turning, can we expect assays sometime soon, Mike?

Michael Hudson: Yeah, we have to come with an update. It's been a month or two since we've done that but we had a break over Christmas. So I'd expect through February, pre-PDAC, well have an update on our activities.

Gerardo Del Real: Mike, thank you so much for the update. I know you're busy and got to run because you're at the conference. Is there anything else that you'd like to add?

Michael Hudson: Hit the key points, Gerardo. Thanks as always for your time.

Gerardo Del Real: Appreciate your time, Mike. We'll chat soon.
