RSD Weekly Recap: Midas Gold (TSX-V:MAX), Kenadyr Mining (TSX-V: KEN), East West Petroleum (TSX-V:EW), Almadex Minerals (TSX-V:AMZ), Skyharbour Resources (TSX-V: SYH), Advantage Lithium (TSX-V: AAL)

This is Gerardo Del Real with the Resource Stock Digest weekly recap.

Gold lost 0.2% for the week closing at $1,251 an ounce but was up 8.1% for the quarter, making it the first quarterly gain of the last 10 years.

Silver meanwhile added 0.3% for the week closing at $18.25 an ounce, but added a robust 13.5% for the quarter.

The gains were due in part to a weaker dollar which was flat for the week but settled down nearly 2% for the quarter.

Copper closed at $2.65/lb. adding 5.7% for the quarter.

Platinum closed at $951 per ounce for a quarterly gain of approximately 5% while palladium closed near the $800 per ounce level for a quarterly gain of approximately 17%.

The spot price of Uranium closed lower and settled back at the $23/lb. level while zinc closed a bit lower, setting at $1.24/lb.

Almadex Minerals (TSX-V:AMZ) CEO Morgan Poliquin updated us on progress at El Cobre in Veracruz, Mexico. Two drills are turning and I expect results soon. The company has recently discovered outcropping high-grade gold mineralization. Click here for my interview with Morgan.
