VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 31, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rockridge Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: ROCK) (“Rockridge”) (the “Company”) provides an update on the Raney Gold Project (the “Property”) located 110 km southwest of the city of Timmins, Ontario. The Company has been considering a Phase One exploration program this year that would consist of line cutting, ground geophysical surveys, geochemical surveys and geological mapping to evaluate the Property for exploration targets. Rockridge is still working to obtain the needed exploration permits. Sixty of the seventy-four claim units compromising the Property have been under an “Exclusion of Time”, a discretionary measure (the “Discretionary Measure”) that was implemented by the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines (the “MNDM”) in consultation with the previous claim owners to allow the necessary time needed for the performing and reporting of assessment work on the mining claims as well as the necessary consultations with First Nations.
In addition to this, Rockridge has been evaluating other opportunities to acquire additional mineral properties to bolster the Company’s project portfolio.
The technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with the Canadian regulatory requirements set out in National Instrument 43-101 and reviewed and approved by Richard Kusmirski, P.Geo., M.Sc., a Director of Rockridge and a Qualified Person.
