Revival Gold (TSX-V: RVG)(OTC: RVLGF) — currently trading right around C$0.70 per share — has announced the identification of a “game-changing” high-grade core of mineralization at its flagship Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project in Lemhi County, Idaho.

The Revival geologic team, led by VP of Exploration Steve Priesmeyer, recognized the new high-grade core through the relogging and evaluation of 2020 drill core data, which outlines an area of consistent high-grade sulphide gold mineralization extending over one kilometer from the South pit area to the Joss zone.

As you may recall, just last week Revival released highlight intercepts from the Joss zone of 2.29 g/t gold over 45.7 meters (including 4.58 g/t gold over 10.1 meters) and 2.41 g/t gold over 43.9 meters (including 6.84 g/t gold over 3.9 meters).

The table below lists those and other intercepts utilized in the delineation of the high-grade core which extends to approximately 500 meters below surface and remains open at-depth with possible extensions along 5 kilometers of strike length:

Revival Gold president & CEO, Hugh Agro —  whom you’ll be hearing more from in a moment — commented via press release:

“Efforts by Revival Gold’s exploration team have resulted in a game-changing development at Beartrack-Arnett. Our previous focus on bulk tonnage mineralization has been transformed with an increased understanding of high-grade gold mineralization on the project. This development opens the possibility for the project hosting a potentially large, high-grade ore body with additional bulk underground mining potential at Joss and elsewhere, as the entire five-kilometer strike length of mineralization along the Panther Creek Shear Zone is open at depth. Revival Gold recently received approval for an additional Plan of Operations to drill in the Joss-Rabbit target area and we will resume drilling there as a priority this spring.”

The next step in the process is more drilling, which is slated to resume in May as the snow melts.

One of the things that has the Revival team particularly excited is that the mineralized structure coming together is close to vertical with excellent continuity at-depth, which points to the potential for adding additional tonnes at similar grades in that 4 to 9 g/t range.

Our own Gerardo Del Real of Junior Resource Monthly sat down with Revival Gold CEO, Hugh Agro, to discuss this new game-changing development and the resource expansion potential that comes along with it. You can listen to that interview here (transcript is also available.)

Mike Fagan has mining in his blood. As a teenager he staked countless gold and silver properties in Nevada alongside his dad, Brian Fagan, who created the Prospect Generator model that’s still widely used today in the resource space. One of those staking projects was put into production by a major Canadian mining company — a truly rare and profitable experience. That background uniquely qualifies him as a mining stock speculator. One of the most well-known names in the business, Mike is now putting that experience to use for the benefit of Resource Stock Digest and Hard Asset Digest readers.
