2024 Uranium Boom: Look No Further Than This Small-Cap That’s Set to Drill High-Grade Discovery in Canada

F3 Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: FUU)(OTC: FUUFF) — currently trading around C$0.40 per share in a confirmed uranium bull market — has announced drill mobilization for its newly-commenced winter exploration and drill program at the flagship PLN uranium project located in the southwestern portion of Canada’s prolific Athabasca Basin.

The F3 Uranium team, which recently confirmed a high-grade uranium discovery at PLN’s JR Zone, is now set to expand that discovery via its fully-funded, C$16M ground geophysics and drilling program slated for 55 holes across 24,000 meters.

2024 Uranium Boom

F3 Uranium VP Exploration Sam Hartmann commented on the start of the program via press release:

“We are excited to set out on this aggressive winter program aimed at JR Zone expansion and discovery of additional mineralized zones along the 5km long A1 and parallel B1 shear zones. Increasingly prospective geology with many of the signatures commonly associated with uranium mineralization was recognized in the fall drilling along the B1 area, 3km south of the JR Zone. This includes intensely brecciated, faulted and clay altered Athabasca Sandstone with evidence of a cross cutting structure with significant vertical displacement, highly anomalous boron up to 10,000 ppm in the lower sandstone as well as strongly graphitic, clay altered and structurally deformed basement rocks (see NR dated December 18, 2024.) The extensive structural complexity associated with large-scale hydrothermal alteration and accompanying anomalous pathfinder element geochemistry including uranium values are all features that highlight the strong potential the B1 Area.”

In terms of mining address, it really doesn’t get any better, or safer, than Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, which lays host to around 15% of the world’s uranium buoyed by the support of a very pro-mining government.

Uranium mining has been happening in the basin for some 60-plus years within an expansive geological formation that regularly produces uranium grades that are 10X to 20X the global average and includes giants such as industry-leader Cameco’s McArthur River and Cigar Lake mines.

F3's Innovative Staking

It should be further noted that F3 is the only junior explorer in the basin to have confirmed a recent near-surface, high-grade uranium discovery, which only adds to the excitement and intrigue as the drills arrive onsite — a point clearly expressed in our most recent exclusive interview with F3 Uranium President Ray Ashely:

“November, a year ago, we drilled a beautiful discovery hole: high-grade uranium; nice wide intersection. It’s been characterized as the most exciting high-grade uranium discovery resource being drilled anywhere... I am lucky to work with a team who’s seen three of these high-grade deposits and worked on them and expanded them and defined them. We have the funds in place, we have the expertise, we’re going after it, and we’re moving forward.”

With the drills set to turn in one of the most powerful uranium bull markets in recent memory, we’ll continue to keep you abreast of key developments as the F3 team releases updates on its winter program.
