Revival Gold (TSX-V: RVG)(OTC: RVLGF) — currently trading around C$0.65 per share — has announced a potential game-changing assay result from the final drill hole completed at the Joss target area as part of this year’s exploration program at the flagship, 3 million ounce Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project, Idaho.
Hole-240D returned a long, high-grade intercept of 110.6 meters at 4.34 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, representing the best intercept from the five holes completed this year at the Joss Zone.
Included within that 110 meters are two shorter, higher-grade intercepts of:
- 13.7 meters at 12.0 g/t gold
- 11.8 meters at 8.8 g/t gold
Hole-240D also leaves the deposit open to the south and at-depth.
Revival has now reported high-grade intersections in 18 holes drilled to-date at Joss over a strike length of 1 km with grades ranging 4 to 12 g/t with true thicknesses in the 1 to 5 meter range with broader zones of surrounding mineralization.
The recently-completed program is a potential game-changer for the Joss Zone and for the larger Beartrack Phase-2 development.
Revival Gold CEO, Hugh Agro — whom you’re about to hear from directly — commented via press release:
“This is a game-changing hole as it hosts the highest-grade gold intersections released to date from the Joss target area. With BT21-240D we are now beginning to see the full potential of the Beartrack-Arnett gold project. The high grades and substantial widths of mineralized structure encountered in BT21-240D reinforce our enthusiasm for the project’s underground potential and the possibility of it being developed into a highly profitable and long-life mining operation. We have had a very high success rate drilling in the PCSZ along more than 5 km of strike and we look forward to the resumption of drilling at Joss in the new year.”
The results show the potential for both selective high-grade mining and bulk mineable mineralization to supplement the main open pit for the envisioned Phase-2 mill project at Beartack.
Simultaneously, the RVG team continues to advance its Phase-1 project of restarting heap-leach production of oxide ores at the satellite Haidee area — where drilling is ongoing — with an updated resource estimate expected in early-2022.
A Feasibility Study on the Phase-1 heap leach program is expected to be completed by year-end 2022.
Our own Gerardo Del Real of Junior Resource Monthly caught up with a very busy Revival Gold CEO, Hugh Agro, to go over the latest high-grade intercepts at Joss and next-steps for Beartrack-Arnett. Enjoy!
