Gunnison Copper Corp. (TSX: GCU)(OTC: GCUMF) is a copper development company operating in Cochise County, Arizona, and is focused on delivering pure copper cathode into the US domestic supply chain.
The company’s Johnson Camp Mine (JCM) is presently in construction. The operation is working with Nuton LLC, a Rio Tinto Venture, designed to restart the mine using NutonTM technologies, with first copper expected to be produced Mid 2025.
A comprehensive PEA was just completed on the “Gunnison Project”, which incorporates a large open pit of predominantly copper oxide mineralization approximately 2 kilometers south of JCM. The Project is a low cost, environmentally-friendly being pure copper cathode via SXEW and is designed to produce around 167 million pounds of copper cathode annually.
Gunnison Copper also owns a portfolio of adjacent exploration projects, including the historical South Star deposit and the Peabody Sill and the Strong and Harris deposits.
