Capella Minerals (TSX-V: CMIL)(OTC: CMILF) CEO Eric Roth on Multiple Drill Programs with a Catalyst Rich Second Half

Gerardo Del Real: This is Gerardo Del Real with Resource Stock Digest. Joining me today is the President and CEO of Capella Minerals (TSX-V: CMIL)(OTC: CMILF), Mr. Eric Roth. Eric, it's the summer doldrums, but you have been busy on the exploration front. It's been a bit. How are you today, sir?

Eric Roth: Yeah, very good. Thanks, Gerardo, and great to be back.

Gerardo Del Real: Well, listen, let's get into it. What have you been doing the last couple of months? You've had multiple projects that have seen exploration. And then, you're setting up to advance. I want to say thus far it's been smoke, not fire yet. But definitely, smoke vectoring towards the fire. Can you speak to the multiple programs that you have going on and what the second half of the year looks like for you?

Eric Roth: Yeah, of course. And as you mentioned, Gerardo, we have had a busy, I guess, last quarter or last half. So most of the focus has been on Northern Finland. So we had the first diamond drill program ever at Killero East, and that was the old Anglo-American project, which was really sort of delineated about 15 years ago, but we did the first drilling on it. So we did about 2,000 meters of drilling. We got some interesting copper intercepts, some quite high copper intercepts. And I guess right now, we're sort of just looking at the next steps here for what we do for the project. Remembering here at Killero East, we can only drill here in the winter. So we've got a couple of months really to look at all the data that's come in.

One of the problems, of course, we had was that the assays were very slow, but I know that's a common problem, particularly in Finland. So we are basically looking at the next step of that program. We also have just started. We just announced very recently the start of drilling on a neighboring project called Killero West. Again, the target here is looking, in this case, it's two gold targets that have been... Well, two initial targets that have been defined. And the idea is to test those, and see the potential on those targets. And also in the meantime, in between those two, we had what we call base-of-till sampling. And Gerardo, the base-of-till sampling is really geochemical prospecting.

It's what really allows us in Northern Finland to identify targets for core drilling. And we did that on two other projects as well, Jolhikko and also Selsunselka. So the idea is that we've had a good crack so far at four of our five projects. So it has been a busy first half of the year in Finland. And going forward, so of course we have the results from Killero West. We're also expecting the results from the base-of-till sampling very shortly. And then later in the year we have Saattopora West, which is the fifth of the targets. And that's the one that's sitting right next to the old Outokumpu mine called Saattopora. So yeah, it's been a busy half, certainly in Northern Finland. And we expect to have a really busy half going forward as well too.

Gerardo Del Real: No, look, that's a lot of shots on goal. We talked about the macro space right now. And just me getting back from the Rule Symposium last week, which was busy, busy, busy with a lot of really smart capital looking to allocate in what a lot of people think are going to be the lows for the year. Can you speak to the overall sentiment in the resource space and just kind of your outlook on metals prices here in the second half of the year?

Eric Roth: Yeah. Look, certainly I am bullish anyway on the market side, certainly in terms of gold and copper, which is what we really specialize in. I think the market fundamentals are pretty good. Obviously, we've seen a little bit of softness here the last couple of months. But I think, as you say, the smart capital will find a home. And I think if you come back to your other comment on shots on goals, we've obviously got lots happening in Finland. We do expect the drill program in Norway on our Hessjøgruva project to start after the summer recess.

So there's lots of things happening here in terms of drilling coming up. So I think it really will be an exciting second half of the year. And then in parallel, we still have, let's not forget the copper-gold project, which we have in Southern Spain, the new acquisition, which is just going through. We're just getting the work programs approved. And again, that's a project that we would like to be drilling before the year is out. So a lot's going to be happening here in the second half of the year.

Gerardo Del Real: Well, look, we were overdue for a catch-up. I'm looking forward to doing it more often and having you back. It looks like you're going to have the news to support it. Thank you. As always, Eric, appreciate the time.

Eric Roth: Thanks, Gerarado. Always a pleasure.

Gerardo Del Real: All right. Chat soon. Cheers.

Eric Roth: Great. Thanks, Gerardo.
