NevGold Corp. (TSX-V: NAU)(OTC: NAUFF) CEO Brandon Bonifacio on Hitting High-Grade Near Surface Oxide Gold in Nevada

Gerardo Del Real: This is Gerardo Del Real with Resource Stock Digest. Joining me today is the CEO of NevGold, Mr. Brandon Bonifacio. Brandon, good to have you back on. Congrats on a heck of a news release today.

Brandon Bonifacio: Thanks, Gerardo. Very exciting for the company.

Gerardo Del Real: No, look, all the key words that you want to be able to put in a news release when you're in Nevada, you checked off today, high-grade, near-surface, oxidized. Let me read the headline really quick, and then I'll let you provide the context. The headline read:

NevGold Intercepts 2.19 g/t Oxide Au Over 61.6 Meters, Including 8.51 g/t Oxide Au Over 11.6 Meters at Limousine Butte

Congrats. Those are beautiful numbers. Provide the context there, Brandon.

Brandon Bonifacio: Thanks very much. So, I think overall, the most encouraging aspect is that the first four holes came back with near- surface, high-grade, oxide mineralization. And another great signature that our team's extremely excited about is seeing some of those sub-intervals come back with multi-gram per tonne material. So that really builds the case that this is an extremely strongly mineralized system. And I think when we start to release some of the further assays from both the Resurrection Ridge target area, along with the Cadillac Valley target area, which both are being drilled currently, we will have some very exciting results coming in the next couple weeks. So again, we're starting to build a serious case for a near-surface, multi-million ounce, oxide gold resource, in the state of Nevada.

Gerardo Del Real: You mentioned in the news release that your utilizing of a core rig has greatly improved the geological model. And it certainly seems that the team is a whole heck of a lot more confident as to the accuracy of the current model and being able to refine it. Is that an accurate assessment of how you guys and gals are feeling?

Brandon Bonifacio: Yes, definitely. I think, important to note with the Limousine Butte project, it hasn't had serious exploration for the better part of 10 to 15 years. So a lot of the world has changed from a geological understanding standpoint, specifically in the state of Nevada in the last 10 years. And what we're seeing with our refined geological model is the same unit and stratigraphies located in other parts of the land package that have actually never been drilled before. So that really gives us the lift from what we think is a very confident million ounce marker in the near term, and driving to that multimillion ounce resource base. And really being able to pull the core out of the ground, gives us a great visual and very descriptive in terms of what we're seeing from the different units and stratigraphies that are the key hosts of mineralization. And we're looking to replicate that with a number of new targets that we've defined in the past couple of months that will be drill-tested in the current program.

Gerardo Del Real: I encourage everybody to take a peek at the news release, which we'll link to, right near the end there. You have some beautiful pictures of some beautiful rock. Encourage everyone to get familiar with the targets. It sounds like you're expecting more positive news out of the project. Two rigs going, assays pending, and it sounds like the lab did a pretty decent job of turning around the assay results, because I know a lot of folks have had a lot of issues with lab delays.

Brandon Bonifacio: Yeah, definitely. We're extremely pleased with working with American Assay Lab out of Reno. Obviously we have a strong operational working relationship with them from past years, and seeing the assay turnaround times will bode well for us. And I think it's part of the competitive advantage that we at NevGold have, and based on our history operating in the state of Nevada. So we look to get quick turnaround times on the assays that are currently at the lab and that will be sent to the lab shortly. And that will afford us a lot of news over the coming months, by way of the drill bit, which as we know, is a real value add.

Gerardo Del Real: Brandon, congrats. Looking forward to having you back on when the rest of the assays start trickling back in again. Appreciate the time. Anything to add to that?

Brandon Bonifacio: No. Thanks for the time today, Gerardo, and again, look forward to updating your audience, as we have in the past, on all the positive developments of the company, and really excited about what we're seeing, and really think that we're at a critical inflection point in terms of what NevGold will become over the coming months, as we continue to release what looks to be positive, economic, oxide, near-surface gold grades.

Gerardo Del Real: Well said. We'll chat soon.

Brandon Bonifacio: Thanks, Gerardo. Good catching up.
