RSD Weekly Recap: Almadex Minerals, Cordoba Minerals, Skyharbour Resources, Millrock Resources
This is Gerardo Del Real with the Resource Stock Digest Weekly Recap. A later than usual weekly recap as we spent the last three days at the Silver-Gold Summit in San Francisco.
Gold and silver were both down last week. Gold closed near $1220 for the week and silver was down 5% closing in the $17.30 range.
Platinum was also down for the week closing at $943 but palladium rallied 9% to close near the $670 level.
Hopes for large scale Infrastructure spending has helped copper rally. Copper closed to $2.50/lb.
On the news front I had the opportunity to speak with Almadex Minerals CEO Morgan Poliquin on the most recent drill results from the El Cobre project in Veracruz. You can listen to that interview here.
Cordoba Minerals announced that the company and JV partner HPX has initiated phase three of their joint venture at the San Matias Copper-gold project in Colombia. Expect a resource estimate from the Alacran target soon.
I had a chance to chat with Skyharbour Resources CEO Jordan Trimble at the New Orleans Investment Conference a few weeks ago. Jordan outlined Skyharbour’s contrarian approach and how it was able to put together a top geology and management team. You can see that interview here.
Outsider Club founder and co-owner of this site Nick Hodge interviewed Millrock Resources CEO Greg Beischer on the prospect generator model and how Millrock has positioned itself to take advantage of this new bull market. That interview is here.
That’s all for now. With the election behind us I look forward to lots of news-flow leading into the holidays. I also look for even lower gold and silver prices going into the new year.
