RSD Weekly Recap: Riverside Resources (TSX-V: RRI)

This is Gerardo Del Real with the Resource Stock Digest weekly recap.

Gold closed at $1,266 for a 1% loss. Silver also traded lower, closing at $17.17 an ounce, down nearly 2% for the week.

Platinum closed at $937 an ounce, down 1.6% for the week but palladium hit a 16-year high, surging past the $900 level.

Copper closed at $2.62/lb. for a weekly gain of approximately 2.4%.

Zinc closed at $1.12/lb.

Oil continued lower, losing nearly 4% for the week while uranium was pretty much flat, closing near the $20/lb. level.

I spent a couple of days at the 121 Mining Investment Conference in New York which was well organized, well attended and had great presenters.

In between meetings and presentations I had the opportunity to chat with Riverside Resources (TSX-V:RRI) CEO John-Mark Staude, who shared details of the exploration program at its Cecilia project in Sonora, Mexico and upcoming drill results at Glor.
