Revival Gold (TSX-V: RVG)(OTC: RVLGF) — currently trading around C$0.70 per share — has released assays confirming a new high-grade gold discovery at the Joss target area of its flagship Beartrack-Arnett Project, Idaho, where step-out drilling is continuing.
Highlight intercepts from the Joss discovery hole include:
- 2.67 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 84.6 meters; including
- 11.79 g/t gold over 2.5 meters, and
- 5.36 g/t gold over 5.8 meters
Assays are pending on a second hole drilled along strike approximately 150 meters to the north which has intersected what appears to be similar stockwork to the discovery hole.
Another wide step-out is currently being drilled approximately 400 meters south and on-strike of the southernmost drill-hole at Joss.
So far, the company has completed approximately 1,500 meters of its planned 2,500 meter program at Joss — and any significant drill-hits from these wide step-outs could certainly generate some excitement in terms of potentially expanding the newly-discovered mineralized zone at Joss.
On top of that, the company has brought in a second drill rig that’s now turning on a 2,500 meter program at the Haidee heap leach gold target area. The Revival team is working toward a potential first-phase mine restart at Haidee which already boasts a Mineral Resource of 144,000 oz/Au Indicated plus Inferred.
Revival CEO, Hugh Agro, commented via press release:
“High-grade gold mineralization is exactly what we were hoping to find at Joss and today’s results from BT21-237D continue to demonstrate the significant scale and high-grade potential of this area at Beartrack-Arnett. We are now underway on a large step-out drill hole and expect further assay results from Joss by early September. Work has also commenced at Haidee where we have potential to add near surface leachable resources and optimize engineering factors for our phase one mine restart plan. Last year’s drilling at Haidee revealed the extension of stacked mineralized structures up-dip to the north-east and we are excited to get back into this area to further test the potential.”
All of this drill activity will culminate in an updated Mineral Resource slated for completion in the first quarter of next year.
As you may recall, Beartrack-Arnett hosts a current resource estimate of 1.35 million ounces at 1.16 g/t gold Indicated and 1.64 million ounces at 1.08 g/t gold Inferred for a total of 2.99 million gold ounces.
The Beartrack Mine, itself, is a past-producing open-pit with historic production of ~600,000 gold ounces — making it the largest past-producing gold mine in the state of Idaho.
Now is an opportune time to be taking a closer look at Revival Gold with its sub-C$50 million market cap, two rigs turning at multiple targets including a brand new discovery at Joss, a potential restart of heap leach gold production at Haidee, and a Mineral Resource upgrade in the works.

Mike Fagan has mining in his blood. As a teenager he staked countless gold and silver properties in Nevada alongside his dad, Brian Fagan, who created the Prospect Generator model that’s still widely used today in the resource space. One of those staking projects was put into production by a major Canadian mining company — a truly rare and profitable experience. That background uniquely qualifies him as a mining stock speculator. One of the most well-known names in the business, Mike is now putting that experience to use for the benefit of Resource Stock Digest and Hard Asset Digest readers.
