All eyes on the Fed

This is your Resource Stock Digest editor Gerardo Del Real here with some Monday coffee talking points and thoughts.

It should be a really, really interesting week with all eyes on the Fed. There’s a slight chance we get a rate cut this week as many are now calling for.

I tend to believe it will happen in September but this Fed has surprised us before.

So we'll definitely be watching that very consequential decision.

Turning to commodities, gold is looking to break back above US$2,400 an ounce with silver seeking to retake US$28 per ounce after a recent healthy pullback in both metals.

We have copper looking to hold the all-important US$4 per pound mark. And we have the US dollar looking to get back above the 105 level.

One Gold Stock, One Copper Stock, and One Uranium Stock.

I am giving three bonus reports away right now to the next 250 people who complete the form on the following page. Gain access to these reports and more by clicking here now.

  • Bonus Report #2: “Big Gains From The Battery Metals Boom”
  • Bonus Report #3: “Micro, Macro,Trigger to Profits: What Makes Mining Stocks Soar”

So, lots of moving parts… including increased M&A activity in the gold space and in other metals as well.

Naturally, I'm looking for further news updates on the current round of exploration from our usual suspects Hannan Metals (TSX-V: HAN)(OTC: HANNF) and Patriot Battery Metals (TSX: PMET)(OTC: PMETF).

We also have Almadex Minerals (TSX-V: DEX)(OTC: AAMMF) teeing up the drills at multiple projects this year, including last week’s drill start at the Paradise copper-gold porphyry project in Nevada.

From a bird’s eye view, we’re seeing plenty of junior companies out there doing some really great exploration work, including in the uranium space, which is a sound contrarian bet for those with the timeline to hold for the next quarter or two.

That's all I have for you this week. Have a great one out there everyone.

Let's get it,

Gerardo Del Real
