Almadex Minerals Provides Exploration Update on US & Mexico

Almadex Minerals (TSX-V: DEX)(OTC: AAMMF) — currently trading around C$0.30 per share — has provided an exploration update on a number of key mineral properties in Mexico and Nevada.

Starting with Mexico, Almadex is currently drilling its 100%-owned, 2,440-acre San Pedro gold-silver property in Jalisco State. The program will focus on areas of historical drilling and sampling as well as the company’s own IP geophysics program.

Also in Mexico, the company has completed a field program at its 100%-owned, 5,220-acre Lajas gold-silver property in Zacatecas State. A first pass diamond drill program is slated to commence later this year.

With the onset of winter conditions, drilling has now been paused at the company’s 25,300-acre Willow copper-gold porphyry project in southern Nevada by JV partner Abacus Mining & Exploration. Abacus reports that the program successfully intersected the main target — the Luhr Hill porphyry — with next steps to include an extensive analysis of drill core with which to delineate future drill targets.

Also in Nevada, Almadex is compiling results of a recently completed work program at the fully-permitted, 5,930-acre Davis/Paradise Valley gold-silver project. Targets are currently being selected for a phase-one drill program. Almadex holds the rights to earn-in 100% on the project.
