Almadex Reports Second Gold-Rich Porphyry Interval From Hole EC-16-010 at Norte Target, El Cobre Project, Mexico
This morning Almadex Minerals (TSX VENTURE: AMZ) (OTCQB: AXDDF) released further assyas from the diamond drill hole EC-16-010 on the Norte Zone of its 100% owned El Cobre porphyry copper-gold project located in Veracruz, Mexico.
The new assays showed another 150.90 Meters of 0.55 G/T Gold and 0.22% Copper Including 62.00 Meters of 0.86 G/T Gold and 0.33% Copper from 317 meters to 542.7 meters.
This follows the August 8th release which reported 163.50 Meters of 0.68 g/t Gold and 0.29% Copper Including 43.00 Meters of 1.61 g/t Gold and 0.41% Copper to 317.00 Meters.
That alone would make for a heck of a hole, but the release outlined that "Porphyry style alteration continues to the end of the hole, currently at ~890 meters depth and advancing."
There are four porphyry centers on the property, all which have shown significant gold-copper potential. Drilling is ongoing at multiple targets. This is a drill program that should be on everyone's radar.
