This is your Resource Stock Digest editor Gerardo Del Real here with some Monday coffee talking points.
It's been a busy couple of weeks between a very spectacular site visit with Hannan Metals (TSX-V: HAN)(OTC: HANNF) in Peru and the Beaver Creek Precious Metals Summit in Colorado.
Lots going on as you can imagine…and it’s great to be back.
We have gold flirting with the US$2,600 per ounce level, which, of course, is record high territory. We also have silver looking to hold the US$31/oz mark. If silver is able to break US$32/oz, I think it makes a run to US$36/oz in short order.

Copper continues to look strong at around US$4.18/lb and appears primed to move higher.
We are on the cusp of what likely will be a 50 basis point rate cut. Some senators are calling for 75 basis points. 25 basis points now seems to be off the table. Either way, whether it's 25, 50 or 75 points, we're going to get a rate cut, and that's going to mark a significant shift in Fed policy.
What else am I watching?
I’m definitely keeping a close eye on Hannan Metals (TSX-V: HAN)(OTC: HANNF). As I mentioned, I just got back from Peru visiting with them. The trip was absolutely spectacular. They currently have some IP work being done, and I cannot wait to get results from that.
I’m also looking at Kingsmen Resources (TSX-V: KNG)(OTC: KNGRF), which I believe is a heck of an interesting speculation at current price levels. The company is advancing its flagship, 100%-owned Las Coloradas silver-gold project, which represents a consolidation of the historical Parral Mining District of the Central Mexican Silver Belt, covering numerous silver-gold-lead-zinc-copper mines. The KNG team is currently evaluating ground magnetics data as it delineates the next set of high-priority drill targets.
That's all I have for you this week, folks. Make sure you’re positioning accordingly in the commodities supercycle that’s starting to kick into high gear now.
Let's get it,
