Fission 3.0 Set to Drill Flagship PLN Uranium Project in Canada’s Athabasca

Fission 3.0 Corp. (TSX-V: FUU)(OTC: FISOF) — currently trading around C$0.20 per share — is preparing to drill multiple targets at its flagship Patterson Lake North “PLN” uranium project located in the southwest Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan, Canada.

The 100%-owned PLN project — which consists of 38 mineral claims spanning nearly 40,000 hectares — is situated in the same area where Fission Uranium Corp. and NexGen Energy are advancing the world-class Triple R and Arrow uranium deposits.

Previous drill programs at PLN have identified basement-hosted uranium mineralization supported by the presence of alteration pathfinder structural disturbances, supporting the large-scale potential of the area.

With ground geophysics now underway, the Fission 3.0 team is deploying two diamond drill rigs to PLN as part of its winter 2022 program to test the Broach Lake and N Conductor targets.

As always, we’ll continue to keep you posted on developments there.

Led by CEO Dev Randhawa, Fission 3.0 is deploying a brilliant business model of identifying and acquiring highly-prospective North America-based uranium exploration projects and then using its vast technical expertise, as sole operator, to develop and de-risk the projects for potential sale or joint venture.

With a robust portfolio of 16 uranium exploration projects and counting in the Athabasca Basin region, speculators can expect a steady stream of news flow from FUU over the coming quarters with which to potentially drive values forward.

On the macro side, the profound impact of COVID-19 on the global uranium market, coupled with a renewed acceptance of nuclear as clean, emission-free, reliable energy has kicked off events that are already seeing the uranium spot-price — and related equities — ratcheting higher.

Currently, uranium is trading around $43 per pound, which is well below the price needed to incentivize new production to come online. With nuclear energy at the crossroads of the electrification-of-everything and global efforts toward decarbonization — there’s tons of runway ahead for uranium prices and for small-cap uranium equities such as FUU as we head into the new year.
