Gladiator Metals Delivers More High-Grade Copper as New Targets Take Shape Across Flagship Whitehorse Project, Yukon

Gladiator Metals Corp. (TSX-V: GLAD)(OTC: GDTRF) — currently trading around C$2.80 per share in a near-record copper market — has delivered another round of high-grade copper results at the Cowley prospect of its flagship Whitehorse Copper Project in Yukon.

Highlights include:

  • 40.0 meters at 1.98% copper, 0.31 g/t gold, 13.29 g/t silver, and 920 ppm molybdenum
  • 18.1 meters at 1.97% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 7.34 g/t silver, and 1,172 ppm molybdenum
  • 23.4 meters at 1.16% copper, 0.11 g/t gold, 8.81 g/t silver, and 1,226 ppm molybdenum

Notably, all 28 holes reported in the latest batch intersected high-grade copper-gold-silver-molybdenum skarn as GLAD continues to expand mineralization to the northeast and up-dip toward surface.

Gladiator Metals CEO Jason Bontempo commented on the latest results from Cowley via press release:

"These latest Cowley drill results demonstrate the exceptional near-surface grade, thickness and metal endowment now being confirmed across Cowley, transforming the known Cowley mineralised system into a compelling resource-growth story. What is particularly exciting is the consistency of the mineralisation being returned from drilling on the Northern limb, with drilling scheduled to commence on the Southern Limb in the coming week, with every hole drilled on the Northern Limb intersecting significant copper-gold-silver-molybdenum skarn which continues to bring high-grade mineralisation to surface.”

Importantly, the latest drilling is also highlighting molybdenum — widely used to strengthen steel and high-performance alloys — as a potentially meaningful contributor to the economics of a future Cowley resource, with Bontempo adding:

“The Molybdenum component of drilling results has the potential of becoming a highly valuable credit for Cowley. Multiple holes are returning elevated molybdenum values above 1,000 ppm Mo., with molybdenum currently valued at approximately US$70,000 per tonne. Drilling plans at Cowley have expanded from an initial 8,000 metres to more than 14,000 metres, and a second rig to mobilize before the end of August to accelerate infill drilling on the Southern Limb. Gladiator is moving aggressively to unlock Cowley's scale. We believe Cowley is rapidly emerging as a cornerstone high-grade resource opportunity within the Whitehorse Copper Project and one of the Company's most important near-term value drivers.”

Drilling at Cowley continues to focus on expanding and delineating the near-surface, high-grade system as Gladiator works to unlock the prospect’s growing resource potential.

And remember, Cowley is only one piece of a much larger story taking shape across the Whitehorse Copper Project.

Gladiator Metals projects map

The project spans approximately 35 kilometers along the western margin of Whitehorse and hosts more than 30 known copper occurrences within an infrastructure-rich, historically productive copper belt.

Alongside Cowley, GLAD is rapidly expanding its high-grade Cub East discovery where recent drilling returned 35.9 meters at 2.68% copper and 1.35 g/t gold

Cub is particularly important because the discovery was generated using coincident gravity and IP geophysics, providing Gladiator with a proven targeting approach it can now apply across the broader Whitehorse Copper Belt.

That approach is already helping generate additional targets with Best Chance, Great Southern, and the Chief and Arctic Chief trends providing further opportunities for GLAD to demonstrate that Whitehorse can ultimately host multiple high-grade copper-dominant deposits.

With roughly C$50 million in treasury following the closing of a C$35 million institutional financing led by BlackRock, Gladiator is fully funded to accelerate drilling through the end of 2027.

GLAD is planning more than 100,000 meters of drilling across 2026 and 2027 with a ~C$40 million exploration budget, moving from three rigs toward five and potentially adding a sixth rig at Best Chance.

That sets up a catalyst-rich close to 2026 with continued results expected from Cowley and Cub, accelerated drilling, and the potential for additional discoveries as Gladiator tests the next set of targets across the belt.

With copper trading near all-time highs north of US$6.60/lb, Gladiator enters the final stretch of 2026 fully funded and aggressively drilling as it works to demonstrate the district-scale potential of the Whitehorse Copper Project.
