Clean-energy metals explorer Manning Ventures Inc. (CSE: MANN)(OTC: MANVF) — currently trading undiscovered around C$0.07 per share in a rising copper market — has announced the commencement of phase-1 exploration at the newly-acquired, 100%-owned Copper Hill project located in Nevada’s Walker Lane Trend.
The project is situated just 30 km east of the prolific Yerington Copper District, which hosts multiple district-scale copper deposits, including the famous Yerington Copper Mine, formerly owned by Anaconda Mining, which remained in operation for 25 years, producing ~360 million tons of material from the open pit.
The flagship Copper Hill project — which consists of 66 mineral claims spanning 2.3 sq mi — boasts historical production of roughly 1Mlbs Cu from shallow underground workings from skarn and porphyry-copper styled mineralization at grades ranging from 3.5% to 11% Cu.
The phase-1 program is kicking off with detailed geologic mapping, soil geochemistry, and a property-wide gravity survey to develop a comprehensive picture of the 600-hectare project.
How to Make Money on Increased Copper Demand
And one small mining firm came up with a chemical solution that not only makes getting it easy, but profitable.
The Manning Ventures team will be combining those forthcoming results with all available historical data to delineate an initial set of high-priority targets for a planned program of reverse circulation drilling.
Manning Ventures is also advancing a portfolio of lithium-dominant exploration projects in Ontario and Quebec, Canada, of which Leaf River, Bounty, and Kaba (copper-lithium) are presently the highest priorities.
The Leaf River lithium project comprises four separate properties spanning a combined 65,785 hectares — named Snap, Crackle, Pop, and Pow — within the Leaf River lithium camp. The underexplored project lays host to several known pegmatite outcrops, presenting a compelling opportunity for potential discovery.
The Manning team is working with renowned prospector Shawn Ryan and his team at GroundTruth Exploration on the highly-prospective targets with a first-phase reconnaissance program consisting of ground mapping and sampling underway.
The Bounty lithium project is a 4,659-hectare property located within the rapidly emerging James Bay Lithium District of northern Quebec. The district hosts a number of large-scale lithium pegmatite deposits, including:
- Patriot Battery Metals: Corvette Property
- Allkem Ltd.: James Bay Project
- Critical Elements Lithium: Rose Lithium-Tantalum Deposit
- Nemaska Lithium: Whabouchi Lithium Deposit
The spatial distribution of anomalous pegmatites clustering in the center of the Bounty project, within volcano-sedimentary host rock, is thought to be a positive exploration attribute given the deposit model within the James Bay Lithium District.
Last but not least, the Kaba copper-lithium project — located 50 km northeast of Nipigon, Ontario — saw historical drilling by Anglo-American back in 1968, which returned highlight intercepts of 26.5 meters grading 1.0% Cu and 17.3 meters grading 0.54% Cu.
The Kaba property lies just 15 km east of the Barbara Lake lithium-bearing pegmatite field where numerous recent discoveries of Li-bearing pegmatites have occurred.
Manning Ventures recently completed a GIS compilation of historical drilling, a preliminary reconnaissance program, as well as a high-resolution heli-borne magnetic survey (results pending), which should aid in providing detail on structural features integral to known copper mineralization at Kaba.
With multiple early-stage exploration projects in the clean-energy metals space, and with an active eye for additional accretive acquisitions, Manning Ventures has emerged as one-to-watch in the junior space, particularly with copper moving solidly above US$4 per pound and with lithium rebounding off of recent lows.
Is Elon Musk Eyeing This $2 Lithium Play?
In order to reach Tesla’s production goals, Elon Musk needs needs ALL of the world’s lithium supply, at an affordable price.
He can’t get it from the “big 4” lithium producers and most so-called “lithium” plays are pure junk.
One company is emerging as a prime target.
It is set to be the next great North American lithium mine.
And investors are set to make 10x to 20x their money as it comes online.
You just need to take action immediately.
