A quick update on this morning’s copper price action.
We’re seeing a good old-fashioned melt up in the copper space with the spot price hitting $3.14/lb.
Junior Resource Trader will be live soon and if I was writing to the trading service this morning I’d be advising you to make sure you own Chakana Copper (TSX-V: PERU) (OTCQB: CHKKF) for a short-term trade or a great longer term speculation.
I anticipate assays as early as this week, the precious metals space looks like it’s close to resuming its upward trend and the copper chart is a thing of beauty.
For those of you that have patient capital to allocate, I’d be easing into or adding Magna Gold (TSX-V: MGR) (OTCQB: MGLQF) which is currently drilling multiple projects (silver and gold), is on the M&A hunt, producing and has pulled back a bit recently.
I’d also make sure I owned all the Almaden Minerals (TSX: AMM) (NYSE: AAU) I wanted at these prices. I believe we will soon hear from SEMARNAT (the environment ministry) which should soon decide on Almaden’s mining permit.
A decision I expect to be favorable and a decision that I believe pulls in potential suitors sitting on healthy balance sheets looking to replace depleting reserves.
I've recently issued guidance on Nevada Sunrise (TSX-V: NEV) (OTC: NVSGF) and the weakness in share price. It's due to the exercising of warrants that expire on the 29th of this month. There will soon be a drill turning at Coronado and assays will start coming in from Kinsley. These prices are a bargain. Take advantage of them.
