USA-Focused Revival Gold Expands High-Grade Gold at Joss as Mercur Advances Toward Production

Revival Gold Inc. (TSX-V: RVG)(OTC: RVLGF) — currently trading around C$0.70 per share in a resilient gold market — has reported additional high-grade drill results from the Joss area at its co-flagship Beartrack-Arnett gold project in Idaho.

The latest drilling has successfully extended the known depth of mineralization by approximately 240 meters, further demonstrating the scale and growth potential of the high-grade underground gold system.

Highlights include:

  • 14.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 5.9 meters within a broader interval of 2.37 g/t gold over 147.2 meters
  • 4.0 g/t gold over 6.8 meters
  • 4.5 g/t gold over 4.1 meters
  • Previously reported hole BT26-252D returned 6.4 g/t gold over 19.1 meters within a broader interval of 3.1 g/t gold over 62.2 meters

Revival Gold CEO Hugh Agro — whom you’ll hear from next in our exclusive interview — commented on the latest positive results from Joss via press release:

“Today's results highlight the impressive strength of sulphide mineralization at Beartrack-Arnett and extend the depth potential of the drilled underground deposit at Joss to 850 meters, increasing the deposit’s vertical dimension by 240 meters or about 70%. The deposit displays true widths of 2-20 meters in the high-grade mineralized zone and remains open at depth and beyond its existing 1.2 km of known mineralized strike. Further results from the Joss drilling program are expected this summer and into the fall.”

Notably, mineralization has now been traced to approximately 850 meters below surface, representing a roughly 70% increase in the deposit’s vertical extent.

The system remains open at depth and along its ~1.2-km strike, providing meaningful upside as RVG advances an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and evaluates the potential for future underground mine planning.

All five primary drill holes and three wedge drill holes completed during the current program successfully intersected the Panther Creek Shear Zone, underscoring the continuity of mineralization across the expanding underground system.

Importantly, Joss hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource containing approximately 877,000 ounces of gold grading 4.05 g/t that is not included in Beartrack-Arnett’s existing Preliminary Feasibility Study, representing potential upside beyond the current development plan.

Additional assay results from the 2026 Joss drilling program are expected throughout the summer and into the fall as Revival continues to advance the Joss underground discovery.

Mercur Gold Project, Utah

While Beartrack-Arnett continues to deliver exploration success, Revival’s primary near-term focus remains advancing its co-flagship, 100%-owned Mercur project in Utah toward a targeted production decision in early 2028.

The Mercur Preliminary Feasibility Study remains on track for release by the end of Q1 2027 with mine permitting expected to be completed by year-end 2027.

The past-producing brownfields project is expected to position Revival as a US gold producer.

Mercur project overview

RVG continues to advance engineering, permitting, and a fully funded 16,000-meter drill program at Mercur while simultaneously unlocking value at Beartrack-Arnett via the drill bit.

Together, the two past-producing US gold projects host more than 6 million ounces of gold resources, positioning Revival as one of the larger pure-play gold development companies in North America.

Over the longer term, the RVG team sees operational synergies between the two western US projects, including the potential to leverage existing processing infrastructure as both assets advance toward production.

Revival Gold also recently strengthened its balance sheet through a C$33 million financing, providing funding for continued exploration, engineering, and development activities across the co-flagships.

Hot on the story as always, our own Gerardo Del Real of Junior Resource Monthly caught up with Revival Gold CEO Hugh Agro to discuss the high-grade expansion at Joss, Mercur’s path toward production, and the company’s compelling valuation. Please enjoy!
