Kingsmen Resources Delivers New High-Grade Silver-Gold Discovery at Las Coloradas With More Assays Ahead

Kingsmen Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: KNG)(OTC: KNGRF) — currently trading around C$0.85 per share in a resilient precious metals market — has announced a significant new high-grade discovery at the Leona Zone along the Soledad II structure at its flagship, 100%-owned Las Coloradas silver-gold project in the Parral Mining District of Chihuahua, Mexico.

The latest drilling at Leona confirms shallow, high-grade silver-gold mineralization over more than 100 meters, highlighting the discovery potential along the largely untested Soledad II structure.

Highlights from the ongoing drill campaign include:

  • Hole 28: 2.52 meters at 566 grams per tonne silver equivalent (g/t AgEq), including 1.25 meters at 899 g/t AgEq
  • Hole 29: 6.50 meters at 303 g/t AgEq, including 1.35 meters at 787 g/t AgEq

Importantly, only around 100 meters of the 1.6-km Soledad II structure has been drill-tested to date, leaving numerous prospective targets open for additional high-grade discoveries along strike and at depth.

Kingsmen Resources CEO Scott Emerson — whom you’ll hear from next in our exclusive interview — commented on the significance of the new Leona Zone discovery via press release:

“The discovery of new, significant, shallow silver mineralization in the Leona zone of the Soledad II vein/structure is of great importance as it demonstrates the discovery potential of this 1.6 km (approx 1 mile) long, untested system. Kingsmen has identified numerous other targets along Soledad II system that are similar to the Leona zone and have never been drill tested. By comparison, all have potential to host significant shallow zones of silver mineralization. To-date, only a 100-meter length of the 1.6-kilometer-long (~1 mile) Soledad II system has been drilled.”

KNG expects to receive additional assays over the next few weeks, including initial results from the never-before-drilled Saddle target — a potentially important new discovery front approximately 4 km west of the historic Mine Zone.

With drills continuing to turn at Las Coloradas — including Hole 24, one of the deepest drilled to date — Kingsmen is targeting extensions of the high-grade mineralization at Leona and other priority areas across the property with additional drill core headed to the lab this quarter.

KNG is also preparing to drill Almoloya — its second consolidated precious metals project in the Parral district — in the new year and has the treasury to complete its near-term drilling objectives with nearly half of its current ~C$30 million market cap backed by cash.
